Meta Programming of Digital Audio Synthesizers using LSTM Networks

Programming of sound synthesizers is an extremely complex and requires lot of time and domain knowledge. Meta programming of synthesizers involves the synthesizer programming itself and causing it to emit a sound as close as possible to a target sound. I have described a sound matching technique that can be used by the synthesizer to program itself. The technique involves using LSTM’s to train a model to deduce the appropriate settings for reprogramming. The trained model can then match sounds in almost real time
