AuxWiden is a filter based Stereo Expander. Its a modified version of the SRS expander. To increase the "widening" impact, the stereo signal was passed through the highpass [HPF] filter with alternating channel inputs. The DSP is condensed down to one knob on the GUI, that the user can control to add the desired amount of widening.
